Not the best picture of the Chile and fries. Come see for yourself.
Wow. I got the chicken fried steak skillet. One of the best breakfast dishes I have had on my 30 day cross country trip. My mouth was watering as I uploaded the picture. I don't snap a picture unless it's worth it. It was.
YUMMM!! Mashed potato bowl with corn and popcorn chicken and they teriyaki chicken rice bowl 😋 SO GOOD. AND a vanilla shake - all delish!Fun gentle-1950s Route 66 style, friendly efficient staff. Perfect healthy comfort road food!
I got the breakfast skillet with sausage. It was just fantastic. The potatoes were cooked to perfection just enough for a nice crunch but soft in the middle. It was a very good breakfast when im in Holbrook i will be back!
Good food that is good home food. Fill you up every time. Love eating here!
After 12 hours in the cab of a U-Haul, we could not have picked a better place to have dinner. Tom and Suzie's Diner is a nice place with a very cozy atmosphere. The service was excellent. The food was great. I had the Southwest Burger, best burger I have had in a very long time. My wife had their BBQ pork sub and she loved it. One veey pleasant surprise was the custom hot-sauces the have. They have a habanero hot sauce and a jalapeno hot sauce, both were fantastic. If you are like me and like some heat, then you need to go with the habanero. The sauces are made exclusively for their diner by a place in Goodyear, AZ.My recommendation, if you are passing through or staying in Holbrook, do youraelf a favor and stop in for lunch or dinner. Aside from what we had they have a very nice menu to choose from.
On our Rte 66 drive, we decided to stop in here because it was the highest rated diner in the area. We were not disappointed. The service, the food, and the prices were all pretty good. It had a great variety of options to choose from. I got the chicken alfredo and was able to eat the whole plate. It was delicious actually! Id return and recommend!
We stopped in as we were driving through the area. Tried to order breakfast expecting like most diners it would be available any time of day. We were told they had stopped serving breakfast so we ordered something else. Then another customer came in after us, obviously a “local.” They ordered, and were served ... BREAKFAST! Then ... they tried to add a surcharge because we wanted to pay by credit card. We won’t be stopping here on our next trip ☹️
Coffee was good. Omelette was better. Served hot, fresh ingredients. Limited Semi-Truck Parking. Easy access from I-40.
Extra clean and fantastic service. Was on a 4 day road trip and best food we ever had. A great selection to choose from. Stopped for evening meal, didn't leave hungry, large servings.
An ok restaurant. They could do a bit better working with fresh products instead of frozen or already prepared dishes.
Incredible dinner and breakfast. The staff is awesome and friendly. Good place after a Day of route 66
The house recipe for their sausage was very good. I'm not usually a sausage eater, try it!
My grilled pork chop was cooked to perfection, as was the steamed broccoli and baked potato! The service was wonderful and friendly!! I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! This was by far the best meal I have had in years! Thanks!!!!
Amazing Service and Friendly! Great Homemade from Scratch food!Great stop for any road trip!!!
Amazing food and service. If we come by here again I'm defiantly coming back.
We were looking for a good breakfast place and we found one! Very nice service and tasty food. The food came out quickly and we really enjoyed it. Definitely would visit again.
Great family diner,..kids enjoyed the kids menu,.various foods to order.
Very good home cooked breakfast, wonderful home fries. Reasonable price. Friendly service. Nice diner atmosphere. Very clean and well maintained interior. Anytime again.
Good food, good portions, good prices.
The place comes off as a nice country dinner, but please bring a drink with you because from the water and soda I ordered it might as well came from the street. One of the redeeming qualities would be the pies they sell but be weary this place charges 4% of your bill if you use a credit card.
Ordered a turkey croissant and chicken strips.Turkey croissant was tasty and fairly fresh. Sweet potato fries were crunchy. Chicken strips were very very greasy, nearly to the point of being wet. Had a bowl of ice cream for dessert, was yummy.Service was mediocre but timely.
Nice little diner, great stop for truckers and passing through. Very nice staff
Awesome food, very polite and clean.
This place was super good. Great service! I had the black bean burger was the best I’ve ever had. Also got the Oreo pie.
Absolutely amazing service. The young gentleman was attentive and funny and cared about me my mom and my dad and all our shenanigans. I will be repeat business here for sure because of him. The pie is excellent and the menu offers something for everyone. A must stop in Holbrook.
Yummy liver and onions. With an ice cold beer. And Heather's chicken fried steak was so tender with excellent gravy. Wow, so glad we stopped here on our trip to Colorado. Thx!
Typical diner food, but the location is a bit run down and unappealing. From the sound of it the place is now in its third generation - the grandson of the founder is on the staff. However, while the food was well priced and not terrible, it could use a revitalization of the decor and menu.
Best food I've had in 37 years, and locals love the place. Probably the most fun part was the conversation at the table next to me. There were 10 locals enjoying the food and service a lot.
Epitome of a roadside diner. Good service, the food was hot but nothing special.
Clean, spacious family restaurant with a decent menu. The waitress started off a bit gruff but warmed up by the end of our meal. We ordered the Ole Turkey sandwich with potato salad and the Club sandwich with fries. The Turkey sandwich, though tasty, is definitely not a healthy version of a Turkey sandwich. Turkey luncheon meat with a green Chile and melted cheese on a butter soaked griddle sourdough bread. The potato salad was on the sweet side, different from what we were used to, but tasty nonetheless. The club sandwich with crinkly fries was perfect. Can't go wrong with a club sandwich, especially when it's made the way Tom & Suzies Diner did... perfectly!!!The bathrooms could use a better cleaning but overall, it still beats going to a rest stop any day! Tons of parking is available and the establishment is wheelchair accessible.
Excellent diner food! My wife and I both enjoyed our meals tremendously. I had a tuna melt and my wife had the club sandwich. Plus it’s located on Route 66 for all those travelers who still enjoy that.
The food was great, as was he service! I would definitely go there again. Highly recommend if you come to Holbrook AZ.
Great local dinner that servers breakfast thru supper. I really like the down home feeling of the place. The breakfast menu has enough options to make anyone happy. The lunch menu has a load of burger choices to keep you coming back to try them all. My favorite is the open face chili burger.
Food is AMAZING, service is crazy fast, our table was tended to 4 times during our visit which is awesome.
Homey small town dinner. Only one waitress, who was amazing. She got busy suddenly but we still felt well taken care of. Food was quick, hot, and delicious.
I've been so excited to try this place and I'm glad I did! The service and the food were both great and I loved the atmosphere inside of the restaurant. Everything was very clean.
Very friendly service, the food came out fast and best pie I've had in a long time! Coming through, we stopped in as we stayed overnight in Holbrook. Olivia was our waitress and she went above and beyond our expectations - so friendly and helpful and courteous! Our meals were the pork rib special, a jalapeño burger and kids Mac and cheese. The ribs came with baked beans and corn - the whole thing was excellent and such a big portion I couldn't finish but ate it the next morning! The jalapenos on the burger were fresh sliced and it was very good. The Mac and cheese was kraft but wow, they added something to it that my daughter loved it and ate every bit! We took chocolate cream pie to go and wow! So good and so much I had to share it, definitely the best chocolate cream pie I've ever had. Thanks Olivia for a very good meal and friendly service!
Nice diner. My wife and I each had a salad and split a southwestern burger. Plenty of tasty food for the price.
Great place for a lunch stop between Phoenix and Santa Fe. We stopped here before we went to the petrified forest. Very friendly staff and good food. Not all homemade, but cooked well!
We stopped at this place for lunch. It's a nice little place. Our host was very prompt and attentive. The orders were served promptly. Though I'll say the food was just above average. We ordered a chicken salad and a chicken sandwich with fries. Both were okay.
The food was edible. Carl Jr's has a better mushroom swiss burger. The pie was really good.
Good service and tasty food. Waitress was friendly and let us order breakfast even though it was a couple minutes past 11am. A good way to start your day if you're heading to the Petrified Forest. The Hungry Man is their big breakfast meal and worth it.
Not great, not bad. Average food from a somewhat traditional menu. Easy access from I-40, friendly waitress. Relatively quick service for what we selected for our breakfast.
Fast and friendly. We went for breakfast and had a combo meal with biscuit and gravy, eggs, sausage, and potatoes. Everything was great! Highly recommend to anyone passing through.
This place was great. Good selection American, Italian, Chinese, and Mexican dishes. Large portions, fairly priced, attentive and friendly servers. A million different pies. I will stop here again.
Chicken Alfredo was good. Plenty of chicken. Citrus flavor, kinda interesting. Wife's burger and fries were good too. Fast food and friendly service. Prices OK.
The worst part of the visit is going to pay to find out there is a $2 + charge for using credit.Gravy with the biscuits and gravy didn't taste good and didnt finish the meal. Pancakes kind of tasted like cardboard. French toast was good but not fluffy.
Great food. The staff are awesome, so friendly. Very clean also.
Free wifi, yummy food, and friendly staff.
